Every piece of Von Diamonds jewelry is backed by our complimentary lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. This includes:
- Free prong tightening for the lifetime of the ring
- Free professional cleaning twice per year at any of our partner locations
- Free rhodium re-plating on white gold pieces (once per year)
- Free inspection of all settings and metalwork
- Free repair of any manufacturing defects (loose prongs, weak solder joints, faulty clasps)
What this does NOT cover: Loss, theft, accidental damage, wear-and-tear from normal use, or damage from incidents (chemicals, impact, etc.). For those, add Extended Protection below.

Our optional Extended Protection Plan picks up where the lifetime warranty ends. covering scenarios that would otherwise be costly out-of-pocket repairs or full replacements.

Filing a Warranty or Protection Claim
1. Contact our customer service team. Email us at service@vondiamonds.com or call us with your order number and a description of the issue.
2. Send your ring for inspection. We'll provide a prepaid, insured shipping label. Use the original box if possible.
3. Free assessment within 5 business days. Our master jeweler diagnoses the issue. whether it falls under lifetime warranty, extended protection, or out-of-warranty repair.
4. Repair, replacement, or quote. Covered claims: we repair or replace at no cost. Out-of-warranty claims: you receive a clear quote before any work begins.
5. Free return shipping. Your ring ships back insured and tracked at no charge.

WARRANTY FAQ
No. your warranty is automatically active when your order ships. We have your purchase on file linked to your email and order number. Just contact us with either to start a claim.
Side stones lost from normal wear are NOT covered by the free lifetime warranty (which covers manufacturing defects only). They ARE covered by the optional Extended Protection Plan. Without protection, side stone replacement is a paid repair. typically $50-$200 depending on the stone.
Pricing depends on your purchase value and coverage length. Typically 6-10% of the ring's price for full lifetime coverage. The exact price for your ring appears as an add-on at checkout.
Yes, within 30 days of purchase. Contact our customer service team to add a protection plan to an existing order. After 30 days, the plan can't be retroactively added.
Stolen rings are covered under Extended Protection (with a police report). The lifetime warranty does NOT cover theft. File a police report immediately, then contact us with the report number to begin a claim.
Most repairs complete within 7-14 business days from when we receive your ring. Complex repairs (full re-setting, custom work, replacement diamond sourcing) may take 3-4 weeks. We provide tracking updates throughout.
You can ship it to us for a free professional cleaning, or visit any of our partner jewelers (we'll send a list with your protection certificate). Local cleanings are typically free of charge for warranty-holders.
